How to identify pure cotton socks

How to identify pure cotton socks:

Customers want to know whether the product they buy is good or bad, and they don’t want to make the wrong choice among the many products. When I was negotiating business with an Iraqi foreign trade company, a foreigner put a pair of socks on the table. Then he took my socks and saw that mine was slightly smaller. So I took the two pairs of socks in his hand and compared them. Then I asked him to pull the socks by himself. His socks are not elastic, that is to say, if the socks are not large, they should be set at high temperature and the socks will die. Now, the socks have almost no elasticity. Although they seem to be larger, just imagine what it would be like to wear socks without elasticity on your feet. Will they always slide down? Later, foreigners placed an order for me soon after they were optimistic about the product. To see how elastic the sock is, you just need to pull the sock and release it with one hand, I believe it is easy to see how elastic it is. Let's look at another aspect of the product, the density of knitting. Let me talk about how to identify the knitting density of cotton socks. You can put one hand into the cotton sock and slowly open your fingers. If you can clearly see your fingers, it must be too loose. On the contrary, the density is tighter. On the other hand, you should also pull the sock horizontally, that is, pull the width of the sock, so that you can analyze, how wide the foot can be worn by people, which is also a standard when you look at the goods

Socks belong to small commodities. Many friends may not pay attention to the material of the socks when they buy them. When walking a lot, there is a lot of sweat on the feet, strong foot odor, stuffy feet, and slippery feet in the socks. The reason is in the quality of your socks.

The cotton content of pure cotton socks is generally 70%--85%, and the other components are about 15%-30% elastic fibers (spandex, nylon, rubber bands, etc.). Socks woven from 100% cotton have no elasticity, are easily deformed, loose, and are difficult to fit well with your feet, let alone comfort. No sock factory will weave 100. % cotton socks, so-called 100% cotton socks on the market do not exist.

First of all, let's take a look at the advantages of pure cotton socks:

Pure cotton socks are soft, comfortable, do not burn feet, do not stink feet, and are very good in sweat absorption and breathability.

The sweat-absorbing properties of pure cotton socks will make you feel dry and comfortable in summer. Especially thick ones. As long as you change a pair every day, it will not smell or feel wet. Helps with sweaty feet.

If the socks are made of polyester-cotton or clear cotton and other chemical fibers, they look like pure cotton socks, but when they are worn on the feet, there will be slippage, foot odor, and stuffy feet.

So how to distinguish pure cotton socks from other socks made of chemical fibers:

(1) touch. The pure cotton fabric feels plump and thick, and looks like a fabric of the same thickness, the pure cotton feels firm and muscular.

(2) Look. To check whether the pure cotton fabric has "aurora", use both hands to flatten the fabric and apply a certain tension. The fabric and the body are at a 45-degree angle downward. Look at the light source to see if there is a dazzling light flashing. If there is, it proves that there is chemical fiber.

(3) Pinch. There are obvious folds after pinching the pure cotton. Fold the fabric in half and scrape it with a fingernail. After unfolding, there is a clear fold line, while the chemical fiber fabric has no folds after pinching.

(4) Burn. The cotton fiber does not melt or shrink when it is close to the flame. It burns immediately when it touches the fire. When burning, it smells of burning paper.

Pure cotton is breathable and comfortable to wear! Recognition method, hand feeling, it depends on experience! The best way is to burn with fire, the ashes of pure cotton after burning are white powder, and there are no particles or lumps when kneaded by hand. The burning ashes of chemical fiber products will condense into particles or lumps, which are very hard and cannot be broken by hand.
